Monet Water Lilies

Date: 28th Feb 2020 @ 3:11pm

This week, we have been studying the artist Claude Monet. He was an impressionist artist and the name 'impressionism' comes from a painting Monet exhibited called 'Impression, Sunrise'. Impressionists painted everyday scenes, however they did not want to paint a realistic picture but an 'impression' of what they could see. We created our own Monet inspired artwork based on his 1906 painting 'Water Lilies'.

‘We create, We explore,

We care, We soar’
