Manchester Airport

We have been learning all about types of transport this term. We went on a school trip to Manchester Airport! We learned lots of information about aeroplanes and saw lots taking off and landing! We even got to dress up as pilots and go in the flight deck. We had so much fun!

Did you know?

The Concorde had a pointy nose so the pilots couldn't see when they were taking off!

The Queen had her own special seat on the Concorde. She sat in seat 1A.

The Concorde was too expensive for people to travel on so they stopped flying it.
