Doubling

This week to start our maths learning, we have been doubling. In the story that we are reading, Milo's mum is carrying a bag of shopping at the beginning. We have used this idea to help us to double. We have followed the steps to success by counting the same amount of cubes into each bag then counting how many we had altogether. We wrote our number sentence down and found the total on a number line. 

Miss Powell was really impressed with everyone's enthusiasm for doubling!
