Hello Year 6!
I hope you have been looking after yourselves and staying safe at home. What amazing weather we have been having - if you have somewhere safe to go outside, make sure you are getting lots of fresh air and making the most of it!
Today I have 2 challenges for you:
1. Gary Lineker is back and he needs help with another maths puzzle. This week it's percentages! Have a go at solivng his questions - let me know how quickly you could do it.

I have attached a knowledge organiser to help remind you how we solve percentages - remember to look in your red books too! (Don't forget about your magic %!)
2. This week I have been reading Mythos by Stephen Fry - it's all about Greek myths and I have really enjoyed it! Unfortunately, I am nearly finished and I just don't know what to read next! I'd love to hear your suggestions - I'm all out of ideas :(
Could you create a book review of something you have read recently that you think I would enjoy? You could write about it, draw it or even present it as a video (I know some of you are so creative with technology and can probably think of an even more exciting way - I'm looking forward to seeing what you come up with).
Send these into me at: y6homelearning@ravensbury.manchester.sch.uk or tweet me at: Year6Ravensbur1 - Check back to see what my next book will be!
Some other fun things you might like to try at home this week:
10am - Oti Mabuse from Strictly Come Dancing - live dance lessons (I know how much you all love dancing!)
11am - Storytime with David Walliams. every day at 11am on www.worldofdavidwalliams.com
Music with Myleene Class. Twice a week, Myleene is doing music lessons on YouTube. Next one is Friday 27th March 10am
- Let me know if you try any of these! I will definitely be listening to David Walliams, maybe I'll choose one of his books next!
Have a lovely day!
Miss Kenwell
